Ethics Consultation - for Care With Fraser Health Authority

Consultations to help address ethical issues that arise in the course of your work or interaction with Fraser Health.
They provide ethics consultations to help address uncertainties or conflicts that arise in your health care with Fraser Health.

Any patient, client, family member or a loved one can request an ethics consult. Once you submit a consult request a team member with contact you for more information. Then, a team member will meet with you in person, meet with any other involved parties, hold a consultation meeting and then write-up and distribute solutions discussed.

Depending on the urgency of the situation an ethics consultation could be initiated within 1 hour or 48 hours. The process itself could take anywhere from 30 minutes (in an emergency situation) to 2 weeks (where time is not of the essence, the issues are complex, and there are many people involved).
